This is supportive therapy, not a treatment for infection. An abscess, an infected wound, or an inflamed ear still needs the underlying cause treated — enzyme tablets help resolve swelling and fibrin alongside that, not instead of it. Tell your veterinarian if your pet is on any blood thinner or aspirin, and stop and seek advice if you notice unusual bruising, bleeding gums, blood in stool or urine, or a wound that starts oozing blood. Animals allergic to pineapple may react to bromelain. Loose stools are the most commonly reported effect.

Oriheal Tribrozyme is a veterinary systemic enzyme anti-inflammatory combination tablet for dogs and cats, containing three complementary active ingredients: Trypsin 48mg, Bromelain 90mg, and Rutoside Trihydrate 100mg. The triple-enzyme and bioflavonoid combination provides anti-inflammatory, anti-oedematous, fibrinolytic, and antioxidant activity, making it suitable for a broad range of inflammatory, post-surgical, and wound-related conditions. Systemic enzyme therapy works differently from an NSAID: rather than blocking the pain pathway, it helps the body clear the protein-rich fluid and fibrin that make a swollen area tight, hot, and slow to heal, which is why it is commonly used alongside other medication rather than in place of it. Available in 1, 3, and 5 strip pack sizes for short-course and extended treatment courses. Administer as directed by a licensed veterinarian.

Composition (per tablet)

• Trypsin — 48mg: Serine protease enzyme; derived from pancreatic tissue; mechanism of action — cleaves peptide bonds on the carboxyl side of lysine and arginine residues in proteins; in systemic enzyme therapy, exerts anti-inflammatory and fibrinolytic effects at peripheral tissue sites; degrades pro-inflammatory mediators and fibrin deposits in inflamed and injured tissues; reduces oedema by breaking down protein-rich exudate in the interstitial space; fibrinolytic activity may reduce fibrous adhesions and scar tissue formation

Dosage

• Administer on an empty stomach where possible for optimal systemic enzyme absorption — food reduces proteolytic enzyme absorption; confirm from product label
