Drools EarSoothe Otic Solution for Dogs & Cats
Drools EarSoothe Otic Solution is a veterinary ear care solution designed for routine ear cleaning, wax removal, and relief from ear irritation and mild inflammation in dogs and cats. Formulated for use in dogs and cats prone to wax buildup, ear fold moisture accumulation, or mild otitis externa-associated discomfort, EarSoothe helps maintain clean, healthy ear canals and reduces conditions that predispose to bacterial and yeast ear infections.
Composition (confirm from product label)
- Active ingredients — to be confirmed from physical product label
- Commonly, veterinary otic cleaning solutions contain agents such as salicylic acid, lactic acid, glycerin, propylene glycol, or surfactant-based ceruminolytic agents — confirm specific actives from label before publishing
Key Benefits
- Gentle ear canal cleaning — helps dissolve and remove excess cerumen (wax) and debris from the ear canal
- Soothes irritation and mild inflammation associated with wax buildup and moisture accumulation
- Reduces ear odour associated with bacterial and yeast overgrowth in moist ear canals
- Regular use helps maintain an ear canal environment less conducive to infection
- Easy dropper application for precise, stress-reduced ear care at home
Indications
- Routine ear canal hygiene and cleaning in dogs and cats
- Excess cerumen (wax) accumulation and ear canal debris removal
- Mild ear irritation, redness, and itching associated with wax buildup
- Ear fold and floppy-ear breed maintenance (Cocker Spaniels, Basset Hounds, Golden Retrievers, etc.)
- Regular ear hygiene maintenance in dogs prone to recurrent otitis externa
Directions for Use
- Tilt the pet's head to one side and instil the recommended number of drops into the ear canal as directed by a veterinarian or as per label instructions
- Gently massage the base of the ear for 20–30 seconds to allow the solution to loosen wax and debris
- Allow the pet to shake its head, then gently wipe the outer ear with a clean cotton ball — do not insert cotton buds deep into the ear canal
- Frequency of use as directed by veterinarian or label
Safety Information
- For animal use only — keep out of reach of children
- Do not use if the eardrum (tympanic membrane) is ruptured or suspected to be ruptured — consult a veterinarian if the animal shows pain, head tilt, loss of balance, or severe ear discharge
- If signs of deep or severe ear infection are present, seek veterinary diagnosis before using any ear solution
- Store in a cool, dry place away from direct sunlight; keep cap tightly closed after use
