Grooming fragrance for external use on the coat only. Spray onto the body, never at the face — keep it away from the eyes, ears, nose, and mouth, and mist it onto your hand if you want to freshen around the head. Do not apply to broken, raw, or irritated skin, or to a freshly clipped coat. Use sparingly on cats, which have a far sharper sense of smell than we do and groom everything off their coat by licking, and stop at once if your cat drools, shakes its head, or starts overgrooming the area. Try a small patch first and wait a day before regular use, then stop if redness or itching appears. A pet that genuinely smells has a reason, and perfume only covers it. A persistent bad odour usually points to a skin or ear infection, dental disease, or anal gland trouble, and all of those get worse while the smell is being masked — have your veterinarian check any smell that keeps coming back or is getting stronger. Not a substitute for bathing. Keep out of reach of children, and store the bottle capped, in a cool, dry place away from direct sunlight and open flame.
