About This Vaccine

Nobivac DHPPi + L4 is a two-component combination vaccine from MSD Animal Health, combining the freeze-dried live attenuated Nobivac DHPPi with the inactivated tetravalent Nobivac L4. Together, they provide broad-spectrum protection against the most critical infectious diseases in dogs — covering core viral pathogens and four serovars of Leptospira in a single vaccination visit.

Component 1: Nobivac DHPPi

Composition (Per Dose — Freeze-Dried)

• Canine Parvovirus (strain C 154): ≥10⁷ TCID₅₀
• Canine Distemper Virus (strain Onderstepoort): ≥10⁴ TCID₅₀
• Canine Adenovirus Type 2 (strain Manhattan LPV3): ≥10⁴ TCID₅₀
• Canine Parainfluenza Virus (strain Cornell): ≥10^5.5 TCID₅₀

Indications

For active immunization of dogs against:

• Canine Distemper (CDV)
• Infectious Canine Hepatitis caused by Canine Adenovirus Type 1 (CAV1/ICH) — via CAV2 cross-immunity
• Canine Parvovirus Disease (CPV)
• Respiratory disease caused by Canine Parainfluenza Virus (CPiV) and Canine Adenovirus Type 2 (CAV2)

Component 2: Nobivac L4

Composition (Per 1 ml Dose — Inactivated)

• L. interrogans serogroup Canicola serovar Portland-vere (strain Ca-12-000): 3,550–7,100 U
• L. interrogans serogroup Icterohaemorrhagiae serovar Copenhageni (strain Ic-02-001): 290–1,000 U
• L. interrogans serogroup Australis serovar Bratislava (strain As-05-073): 500–1,700 U
• L. kirschneri serogroup Grippotyphosa serovar Dadas (strain Gr-01-005): 650–1,300 U

Indications

For active immunization of dogs against four Leptospira serovars to reduce infection and urinary excretion:

• L. interrogans serogroup Canicola serovar Canicola
• L. interrogans serogroup Icterohaemorrhagiae serovar Copenhageni
• L. interrogans serogroup Australis serovar Bratislava
• L. kirschneri serogroup Grippotyphosa serovar Bananal/Lianguang

Dosage & Administration

• Reconstitute the freeze-dried Nobivac DHPPi using 1 ml of Nobivac L4 as the diluent
• Administer 1 ml of the reconstituted vaccine by subcutaneous injection
• Available in 1 Dose, 2 Dose, and 3 Dose packs
• Follow vaccination schedules as directed by your veterinarian

Storage

Store at 2–8°C. Do not freeze the L4 component. Protect from light. Use immediately after reconstitution.
