Feline Panleukopenia Virus (FPV) Antigen Rapid Test Kit for Cats | Veterinary Diagnostic Test

Intended Use :

The Feline Panleukopenia Virus Antigen Rapid Test is a lateral flow immunochromatographic assay for the qualitative detection of feline Panleukopenia virus antigen (FPV Ag) in cat's feces or vomit specimen.Feline panleukopenia is a highly contagious and life-threatening disease, making early diagnosis critical for effective treatment and infection control.This rapid test kit delivers clear results within minutes, helping veterinarians,

 animal hospitals, shelters, and breeders make fast and informed clinical decisions. It is suitable for screening cats showing symptoms such as vomiting, diarrhea, fever, lethargy, dehydration, or sudden leukopenia.

Test Procedure :

1.Allow all materials, including specimen, reagent and test device, recover to 15-25°C before running the assay.

2.Collect Cat's fresh feces or vomit with the cotton swab stick fr

om Cat's anus or from the ground.

3.Insert the swab into the provided assay buffer tube. Agitate it to get efficient sample extraction.

4. Take out the test device from the foil pouch and place it horizontally.

5.Suck the treated sample extraction from the assay buffer tube and place 3 drops (approx. 15µl) into the sample hole "S" of the test device.

Note: If the liquid will not flow through the surface of the test strip in 30 seconds, please add another drop of the treated sample extraction.

6. Interpret the result in 5-10 minutes. Result after 10 minutes is considered as invalid.

Result Interpretation :

Positive (+) : The presence of both "C" line and "T" line, no matter "T" line is clear or vague.

Negative (-) : Only clear “C” line appears. No “T” line.

Invalid : No colored line appears in "C" zone. No matter if "T" line appears. 

Precautions : 

1. This product is for Veterinary In-Vitro Diagnostics use only, and cross-use by Human sources is strictly prohibited.

2. This product must be us

ed within the validity period / before its expiration date.

3.All reagents (Test Card & Sample Diluent) must be at Room Temperature before running the assay.

4.Do not remove test cassette from its pouch until immediately before use.

5. The components in the kit have been Quality Control Tested as a standard batch unit. Do not mix components from different lot numbers.

6. This product cannot be used as t

he basis for the final diagnosis of the diseases, it needs to be combined with other diagnosis for comprehensive judgement.

7.Each test card corresponds to one sample diluent, and it is strictly prohibited to reuse different or more than one sample.

8. All specimens are of potential infection. It must be strictly treated according to the rules and regulations by local state.
