Dyntec Canglob-P — Canine Hyperimmune Immunoglobulin, 6 ml

Purified heterologous immunoglobulin for passive immunization of dogs against Canine Parvovirus (CPV) — for therapeutic and prophylactic use.

About This Product

Canglob-P is a liquid suspension of purified hyperimmune immunoglobulins manufactured by Dyntec. It provides immediate passive immunity against Canine Parvovirus (CPV) by delivering high-titre specific antibodies directly into the dog’s system. It is indicated for both treatment of active parvovirus infection and short-term prophylaxis in high-risk or exposed dogs.

Composition (Per 1 ml)

Active Substance:

• Immunoglobulinum anti parvovirosis canis: NLT 1024 HIU*

*Hemagglutination-inhibition titre — sample dilution at which 50% frequency of complete hemagglutination is evoked by the virus at the given working dose.

Excipients:

• Thiomersal: NMT 0.1 mg
• Diluting medium: 1.0 ml

Indications

Passive immunization of dogs against Canine Parvovirus (parvovirosis canis). Used for:

• Therapeutic use: To alleviate the course of active CPV infection in affected dogs
• Prophylactic use: To prevent disease development in exposed or at-risk dogs

Specific antibodies help prevent disease onset or reduce severity if infection is already progressing. Duration of passive immunity depends on dose administered, frequency of administration, and route of injection.

Onset of Immunity by Route

• Intravenous (IV): Immediate onset; highest immunoglobulin utilization
• Intramuscular (IM) / Subcutaneous (SC): Slightly delayed onset; immunity somewhat lower compared to IV

A dose of 0.4 ml/kg body weight stimulates passive immunity for approximately 5 days.

Dosage & Administration

• Dose: 0.4 ml per kg body weight, irrespective of species, age, or sex
• Routes: Intravenous (IV), Intramuscular (IM), or Subcutaneous (SC)
• Therapeutic protocol: 0.4 ml/kg daily until clinical improvement
• Prophylactic protocol: 0.4 ml/kg at 5-day intervals in cases of immediate disease risk
• Maximum daily dose: 0.4 ml/kg (applicable for both therapy and prophylaxis)

Route of administration and duration of treatment or prophylaxis must be determined by a veterinarian.

Contraindications

Do not use for prophylactic purposes in sensitized animals or in cases where allergic or anaphylactic reactions have been observed on previous administration.
