Drools AntiEmo-Zen is a prescription veterinary antiemetic tablet for dogs, containing Maropitant — a selective neurokinin-1 (NK1) receptor antagonist. Maropitant is the first and only licensed veterinary NK1 receptor antagonist antiemetic and acts centrally at the vomiting centre (emetic centre / nucleus tractus solitarius) and peripherally in the gastrointestinal tract to prevent both central and peripheral emesis. Indicated for prevention and treatment of acute vomiting, chemotherapy-induced nausea and vomiting (CINV), and motion sickness (kinetosis) in dogs.
