Dartix Shampoo is a medicated anti-parasite shampoo formulated with Fipronil, a trusted insecticidal agent used to help control and prevent ticks, fleas, and lice in dogs and cats. It is designed to provide effective external parasite control while being gentle on the pet’s skin and coat.

Mode of Action

Fipronil works by blocking GABA-gated chloride channels in the parasite’s central nervous system. This causes uncontrolled nerve activity, leading to paralysis and death of ticks, fleas, and lice.

Indications

• Treatment and prevention of ticks (tick fever carriers)

• Control of fleas (helps manage Flea Allergy Dermatitis)

• Effective against lice infestations

Directions for Use

1. Thoroughly wet the coat.

2. Apply Dartix Shampoo and massage gently against the direction of hair growth.

3. Leave on for 15–20 minutes.

4. Rinse completely with clean water and dry the pet.

Safety & Side Effects

• Temporary hair clumping or spiking may occur.

• Mild itching or localized hair loss may be seen in some pets.

• If licked, temporary excessive salivation may occur.

Safety Limit:
Safe for dogs and cats, including breeding, pregnant, and lactating pets. Suitable for puppies and kittens from 8 weeks of age.
