VIRBAC IPRAZ DEWORMING TABLET For Dog

IPRAZ is used to treat and control internal parasitic worm infections (endoparasites) such as:

• Nematodes (various roundworms, etc.) 

• Cestodes (tapeworms) 

It addresses mixed infections of nematodes + cestodes, giving broad coverage in one dose. 

Additionally, it's marketed as a “single shot” dewormer—intended often as a one‑time dose (rather than requiring repeated dosing) for standard infestations. 

Dosage & Administration

• The recommended dosage is 1 tablet per 10 kg body weight (i.e. 2 mg ivermectin + 50 mg praziquantel per 10 kg) 

• Tablets can be administered orally, either directly or mixed with food to facilitate ingestion 

• It is not recommended during pregnancy, lactation, or for puppies / kittens (young age) without veterinary advice 

Limitations & Warnings

• Pregnant or lactating females: Use only if clearly needed and under veterinary oversight (not recommended in general)

• Young puppies / kittens: Caution / generally not recommended in very young animals (depends on age, weight, and vet assessment) As with all drugs, monitor the pet after administration for any adverse reactions (vomiting, diarrhea, lethargy, etc.)
