Paws & Tails™
Product details
Sihil Dermotil-K Shampoo is a specially formulated medicated antifungal and antibacterial shampoo for dogs and cats, designed to support the management of fungal and associated secondary bacterial skin infections. Its advanced veterinary formulation helps cleanse the skin, remove scales, degrease the coat, and maintain healthy skin hygiene.
Dermotil-K Shampoo contains a synergistic combination of Ketoconazole 2% w/v and Chlorhexidine Gluconate 4% w/v, two well-known active ingredients widely used in veterinary dermatology. Ketoconazole works by inhibiting ergosterol synthesis in fungal cell membranes, increasing cellular permeability and leading to fungal cell death. Chlorhexidine, a broad-spectrum antimicrobial agent, disrupts microbial cell membranes and precipitates cytoplasmic components, helping to control bacterial growth on the skin surface.
This shampoo is especially useful as part of a regular skin-care regimen for pets prone to dermatitis, fungal infections, greasy coat, scaling, and microbial skin conditions. It is suitable for routine topical use under veterinary guidance.
