ORIHEAL ZEMAZOL LCZ LULICONAZOL ( ANTIFUNGAL ) CREAM FOR DOGS& CATS

Product description: Oriheal Zemazol LCZ is a topical antifungal cream containing 1% w/w Luliconazole, intended for pets (dogs and cats). It's used to treat fungal skin infections such as dermatophytosis, cutaneous candidiasis, tinea, and chronic or resistant fungal infections. The cream is said to provide quick symptom relief and promote skin healing.

Mechanism: Luliconazole acts by killing or preventing the growth of fungi and yeasts. It is commonly used in human medicine for conditions like athlete's foot, jock itch, and ringworm.
Veterinary relevance: Although systemic treatments (like oral antifungals) are generally recommended for widespread or severe cases of dermatophytosis in pets, emerging evidence suggests that topical Luliconazole can be effective for localized lesions, particularly in cats. A study reported success using 1% LCZ lotion for feline dermatophytosis caused by Microsporum canis.
