ORIHEAL PETOPENEM-FR TABLET

Primary Uses of PETOPENEM-FR:

1. Severe Bacterial Infections

   • Caused by Gram-positive and Gram-negative organisms.

2. Resistant Infections

   • Infections unresponsive to other classes of antibiotics (e.g., penicillins, cephalosporins).

3. Post-Surgical Infections

   • To prevent or treat infection after major surgery.

4. Sepsis or Septicemia

   • Systemic bacterial infection, often life-threatening.

5. Skin and Soft Tissue Infections

   • Deep abscesses, infected wounds, cellulitis.

6. Urinary Tract Infections (UTIs)

   • Especially when caused by resistant E. coli or Proteus spp.

7. Respiratory Infections

   • Pneumonia or bronchitis from resistant bacteria.
