Itchyfix‑IT 
This product contains itraconazole 100 mg, a triazole-class antifungal agent used in veterinary medicine for:
  • Ringworm (dermatophytosis)
  • Yeast infections of skin
  • Systemic fungal infections 
  • Chronic pruritus or adjunctive therapy in conditions like Cushing’s disease.
It is typically prescribed by a veterinarian, based on pet size, weight, and type of infection.

1. Dosage & Administration
  • The typical dosage is 5–10 mg per kg body weight, taken daily or split into twice-daily doses depending on severity .
  • Capsules should be given with a high-fat meal to enhance absorption.
2. Treatment Duration
  • Consistency is vital: continue giving the full prescribed course even if symptoms improve early.
  • Systemic infections often require treatment for several weeks, sometimes even months.
3. Possible Side Effects
  • Mild: loss of appetite, vomiting, diarrhea, drooling.
  • Rare but serious: liver toxicity symptoms like jaundice, fatigue, vomiting; vasculitis or swelling.

 Key Precautions
  • Since itraconazole can interact with many medications (e.g. steroids, heart drugs, antibiotics, antifungals), inform your vet of any other treatments your pet is on .
  • Use caution in pets with liver or kidney disease, heart issues, or in pregnant or nursing animals
