Nobivac DHPPi & L4/ Lepto/ RL

Live attenuated vaccine for immunization of Dogs against canine distemper virus(CDV), canine adenovirus type 1 (ICH), canine parvovirus (CPV) and canine parainfluenza virus (CPi).

Description:
A live attenuated vaccine for the immunization of dogs against canine distemper (CDV), canine contagious hepatitis caused by canine adenovirus type 1 (ICH), canine parvovirus disease (CPV) and respiratory disease caused by canine parainfluenza (CPi) and canine adenovirus type 2 (CAV2)

Composition:
Each dose contains live attenuated strains of:
Canine Parvo virus (strain C 154) ≥10⁷ TCID₅₀
Canine Distemper virus (strain Onderstepoort) ≥ 10⁴ TCID₅₀
Canine Adeno virus type 2 (strain Manhattan LPV3) ≥ 10⁴ TCID₅₀
Canine Para-influenza virus (strain Cornell) ≥10^5.5 TCID₅₀

Nobivac L4

Description:
An inactivated vaccine against canine leptospirosis containing the following strains – L. interrogans serogroup Canicola serovar Portland-vere (strain Ca-12-000), L. interrogans serogroup Icterohaemorrhagiae serovar Copenhageni (strain Ic-02-001), L. interrogans serogroup Australis serovar Bratislava (strain As-05-073) and L. kirschneri serogroup Grippotyphosa serovar Dadas (strain Gr-01-005)

Composition:
Each dose of 1 ml contains: Inactivated Leptospira strains:

• L. interrogans serogroup Canicola serovar Portland-vere (strain Ca-12-000) 3550–7100 U¹
• L. interrogans serogroup Icterohaemorrhagiae serovar Copenhageni (strain Ic-02-001) 290–1000 U¹
• L. interrogans serogroup Australis serovar Bratislava (strain As-05-073) 500–1700 U¹
• L. kirschneri serogroup Grippotyphosa serovar Dadas (strain Gr-01-005) 650–1300 U^{1
  1}Antigenic mass ELISA units

Indications for use:
For active immunisation of dogs against:

• L. interrogans serogroup Canicola serovar Canicola to reduce infection and urinary excretion
• L. interrogans serogroup Icterohaemorrhagiae serovar Copenhageni to reduce infection and urinary excretion
• L. interrogans serogroup Australis serovar Bratislava to reduce infection
• L. kirschneri serogroup Grippotyphosa serovar Bananal/Lianguang to reduce infection and urinary
  excretion

Dosage and Administration:
Inject 1ml of Nobivac L4 subcutaneously . Nobivac L4 can also be used to reconstitute Intervet’s freeze dried vaccine Nobivac DHPPi.

Nobivac RL

Description:
Vaccine for dogs against Rabies and canine leptospirosis caused by L. interrogans serotype canicola and icterohaemorrhagiae

Composition:
Each dose contains:
  Rabies strain Pasture RIV inducing more than 3 IU
  Leptospira canicola (strain Ca-12-000) ≥ 40 hamster PD₈₀
  Leptospira icterohaemorrhagiae (strain 820k) ≥ 40 hamster PD₈₀.

Indications:
For the active immunization of dogs from 8 weeks of age onwards against rabies and canine leptospirosis caused by L. interrogans serotype canicola and icterohaemorrhagiae

Dosage and Administration:
1 ml by subcutaneous injection. Can be used to reconstitute Nobivac DHPPi. Intended for dogs from 8 weeks of age onwards.

Vaccination Programme:
Nobivac RL is indicated for the basic vaccination schedule with the first vaccination at the age of 8-9 weeks of age, followed by a booster at 12 weeks of age and for annual revaccination (Refer product Leaflet for more information).

Nobivac Lepto

Description:
A bivalent, inactivated vaccine for the immunization of dogs against leptospirosis caused by Leptospira canicola and Leptospira icterohaemorrhagiae.

Composition
Each dose of inactivated vaccine contains
Leptospira interrogans serotype Canicola strain Ca-12-000 at least 957 units/ml
Icterohaemorrhagiae strain 820k at least 625 units/ml

Indications
Active immunisation against Leptospirosis caused by Leptospira icterohaemorrhagiae and Leptospira canicola of Leptospira interrogans. Animals are protected against clinical disease, and against becoming renal carriers after challenge.

Dosage and Administration
Inject 1ml of Nobivac Lepto subcutaneously. Nobivac Lepto can also be used to reconstitute Intervet’s freeze dried vaccines, Nobivac Puppy DP and Nobivac DHPPi.

Vaccination Programme
Nobivac Lepto is indicated for a basic vaccination schedule with a first vaccination at the age of 8 – 9 weeks of age, followed by a booster at 12 weeks of age, and for annual revaccination.
Vaccination with Nobivac Lepto, however is part of a comprehensive vaccination programme. Several alternatives exist (Refer Product Leaflet for more information).

Dosage and Administration:
Reconstitute the contents of one vial of Nobivac DHPPi in one vial of Nobivac solvent, Nobivac Lepto, Nobivac Rabies or Nobivac RL. After reconstitution, the vaccine should be used within 30 minutes.

Vaccination Programme:
Nobivac DHPPi is indicated to complete the basic vaccination schedule in puppies, and for annual or biannual revaccination. Vaccination with Nobivac DHPPi however is part of a comprehensive vaccination programme. Several alternatives exist. (Refer product leaflet for more details).
