Product details

  • Product Name: Intas Eazypet Deworming Tablets for Dogs (also sometimes marketed for cats, but primary use is for dogs)

Composition (per tablet)
Each Eazypet tablet contains:
  • Praziquantel: 50 mg 
  • Pyrantel Pamoate: 144 mg
  • Fenbendazole: 500 mg 
This is a broad‑spectrum dewormer combining agents that act against different types of internal (intestinal) worms.

Indications / Uses
Eazypet tablets are used in dogs to treat and control infections by:
  • Roundworms (ascarids) (e.g. Toxocara canis, Toxascaris leonina)
  • Hookworms (e.g. Ancylostoma caninum, Uncinaria stenocephala)
  • Whipworms (Trichuris vulpis)
  • Tapeworms (cestodes such as Taenia spp., Dipylidium caninum)
Thus it covers a wide spectrum of common intestinal parasites in dogs.

Dosage & Administration
  • Standard Dosage: The common recommendation is 1 tablet per 10 kg body weight of dog 
  • Some sources describe lower/higher scaling:
     • Up to 5 kg: ½ tablet 
     • 6‑10 kg: 1 tablet 
     • 11‑20 kg: 2 tablets 
     • 21‑30 kg: 3 tablets 
     • 31‑40 kg: 4 tablets 
  • Frequency / Schedule:
     • For puppies, some sources suggest dosing every 2 weeks until 12 weeks of age, then monthly until 6 months. 
     • For adult dogs, a typical schedule is every 3 months (quarterly) or as directed by a veterinarian. 
     • In some product descriptions: two oral doses 2 weeks apart may be recommended especially in heavy infestations (or as per vet) 
  • Administration Method:
     • The tablet can be given orally directly. 
     • Alternatively, it can be crushed and mixed with food to ease administration.
     • No need for fasting (no starvation required) before or after dosing. 

Precautions, Side Effects & Contraindications
  • Age / Puppies: Some sources caution against use in very young puppies. E.g., not recommended for puppies younger than 3 months. 
  • Pregnancy / Lactation: Use only under veterinary supervision for pregnant or lactating bitches. 
  • Overdose / Adverse Effects: At recommended doses, side effects are rare. Mild vomiting or diarrhoea may occur occasionally. In case of overdose or adverse reactions, a veterinarian should be consulted immediately. 
  • Drug Interactions / Health Conditions: Inform your vet of any concurrent medications or underlying health issues before using. (General precaution) 
  • Storage: Store in a cool, dry place, protected from light. Not for Human Use: This is a veterinary medicine.
