🐾 Primary Uses

Enerfoxin 200 is effective against a broad spectrum of bacterial pathogens in pets. It’s used to treat:

• Dermal infections: wounds, abscesses, hot spots, deep pyoderma (e.g., E. coli, Staphylococcus intermedius, Proteus mirabilis, Klebsiella pneumoniae)

• Respiratory infections: pneumonia, rhinitis, tonsillitis (e.g., E. coli, Staphylococcus aureus)

• Urinary tract infections (cystitis): typically due to E. coli, Proteus mirabilis, Staphylococcus spp.

• Off‑label or compounding formulations may also target gastrointestinal, ear, or soft tissue infections in various species.

Additional administration tips:

• Administer on an empty stomach, or with a light non-dairy treat if gastrointestinal upset occurs.

• Avoid co‑administration with dairy products, antacids, sucralfate, or mineral supplements containing calcium, zinc, or iron, as these compounds can impair absorption.

Duration of treatment: Continue treatment for at least 2–3 days beyond clinical resolution, with a maximum typical course of up to 30 days, subject to veterinary guidance.

Contraindications and caution:

• Do not use in dehydrated pets, or in animals with known hypersensitivity to fluoroquinolones.

• Use with caution in pets with seizure disorders, renal or hepatic impairment, or in pregnancy/lactation.
