Composition (per mL)

Each milliliter of the suspension contains:

• Pyrantel Embonate / Pyrantel Pamoate: 14.4 mg 

• Febantel: 15.0 mg 

Other ingredients: aqueous base, excipients to stabilize suspension and flavoring agent (for palatability) 

Indications / Uses

Eazypet Puppy is used to:

• Treat and control ascarids (roundworms) such as Toxocara canis, Toxascaris leonina 

• Treat hookworms (e.g. Ancylostoma spp.) 

• Treat whipworms (e.g. Trichuris vulpis)

• Prevent nutrient loss due to worm burden, supporting healthy growth in puppies

Dosage & Administration

• Standard Dose: 1 ml of suspension per kg body weight of puppy (i.e., 1 ml/kg)

• Route: Oral — can be administered directly into the mouth or mixed with food 

• No fasting needed before or after dosing 

• Dosing schedule / frequency:
   • Start as early as 2 weeks of age for puppies (to deal with maternal transmission) 
   • Then dose at 2, 4, 6, 8, 10, 12 weeks of age; after that monthly until 6 months of age 
   • After 6 months, treatment may be done every 3 months or as directed by a veterinarian 

Warnings, Side Effects & Precautions

• Not for use in puppies younger than 2 weeks or below ~0.60 kg (safety not established) 

• Pregnant / lactating bitches: use only under veterinary supervision; safety not fully established in these cases 

• Drug interactions: Avoid concurrent use with piperazine because of antagonistic action with pyrantel 

• Overdose / adverse reactions:
   • Mild vomiting, diarrhea may occur in some cases 
   • In tests, doses up to 5× the therapeutic level were tolerated without serious effects. At 10× dose, vomiting was observed first.

• Storage: Keep in a cool, dark, dry place. Shake well before use. Keep out of reach of children. Do not use past expiry.
