Paws & Tails
Product details
A metal dog muzzle is a protective device fitted over a dog’s snout, made primarily of metal (usually steel or stainless steel), sometimes combined with leather or synthetic straps. It is designed to prevent biting, chewing, or scavenging, while still allowing the dog to breathe, pant, and in many designs, take treats or drink water.
Material & Construction
Wire or cage-style frame made of metal (often stainless steel or chromed steel).
Smooth or cold‐wrapped metal bars, so no sharp edges that could injure the dog.
Leather (or leather-like) straps for securing behind the head/neck; some have padding on nose bridge or snout tip to reduce discomfort. Design / Comfort Features
Padding (felt, leather, or soft materials) on parts that touch the dog's snout to prevent rubbing or irritation.
Open cage design for ventilation – lets dog pant, breathe, and in many cases, drink water.
Adjustable straps to fit various snout lengths/girths; buckles, leather or synthetic straps.
