Dartix Powder is a veterinary-use external antiparasitic powder formulated with Fipronil, designed to help in the treatment and prevention of ticks, fleas, and lice in dogs and cats. It is suitable for routine parasite control and for use during active infestations.

Mode of Action

Fipronil works by blocking GABA-gated chloride channels in the insect’s central nervous system, causing uncontrolled nerve activity that results in the elimination of the target parasites.

Indications

• Helps control ticks (associated with tick fever)

• Helps eliminate fleas (associated with flea allergy dermatitis)

• Effective against lice

• Suitable for both treatment and prevention

Directions for Use

• Dust the powder liberally over the body and work it down to the skin

• Apply from the head backward, including feet and legs

• Use once weekly, or 2–3 times per week in case of heavy infestations

• For external use only

Safety & Possible Side Effects

• Temporary hair clumping or spiking may be observed

• Mild itching or localized hair loss may occur

• If licked by cats, temporary excessive salivation may occur
