A fluoroquinolone antibiotic. Works by inhibiting bacterial DNA gyrase/topoisomerase, preventing bacteria from replicating or repairing their DNA. Useful especially for aerobic, Gram-positive, Gram-negative bacteria.

Indications / Uses
Corise Diarest O2 is indicated in dogs for:
Mixed gastrointestinal infections (i.e. where both aerobic and anaerobic microbes may be present.

Bacterial & protozoal infections in GI tract (involving susceptible organisms)
Dosage & Administration
The standard recommendation (in some sources) is for dogs up to 20 kg: 1 tablet, twice a day (BID).

Administer orally, with food (if possible) to reduce GI upset.
